FirstOntario Credit Union went LIVE with GAMMA as Temenos Core Banking Monitoring and Automation tool
Hamilton, Canada 15 Mar 2017: FirstOntario Credit Union (FOCU) went LIVE with GAMMA for monitoring and automating Temenos Core Banking system for both Online and COB operations. Because of Abris huge presence in Canada as well as the recommendation from other customers in Canada, there was no doubt for FOCU to select Gamma as their monitoring and automation product for Temenos Core Banking system. ABRIS had completed the implementation of GAMMA in test on May 2016. FOCU was monitoring the test Temenos Core Banking systems from GAMMA for several months during the implementation and with a little help from Abris team they themselves implemented Gamma on production as the Temenos Core Banking operation tool.
FOCU has a GAMMA setup with full functionality and is able to monitor the COB and ONLINE from Gamma as well as automated the entire Pre-COB activities like backup, stopping online services etc. as well as the COB and all the Post-COB activities also from Gamma. Abris have also introduced a new feature in the current version of GAMMA for Canadian Customers to monitor and alert any failure of ATM and POS transactions called Security Alert Monitor and it can send pdf report at the end of day for the security team for audit purpose for all the ATM and POS alerts generated during the previous day.
The implementation was very straightforward and one of the quickest one due to the rapid responses and good connections. By the request of FCU we introduced a new feature in Gamma: Automatic scheduled groups can allow the customers to run their COBs totally automatic without pressing any button and make sure the actions would start on the exact time every day.
FirstOntario is Abris’s fifth GAMMA client in Canada after Caisse Financial Group (CFG), Canadian Western Bank (CWB), EQ Bank (EQB) and Coast Capital Savings (CCS).
